Martin Ray Winery's Angeline - Pinot Noir

We ran across this wine while in Total Wine a couple of weeks ago. They were doing some tastings and I got my hands on this one. There's nothing finer than finding a cheap wine you really like. I think this bottle was around $10 and it was just delicious!

Martin Ray Winery is located in the Russian Valley River in Santa Rosa, CA. This winery was acquired in 2003 by Courtney Benham. The winery has several lines of wine, with the Angeline being a budget wine with lots of recognition.

The wine:
A brilliant ruby colored Pinot Noir with aromas & flavors of strawberry, raspberry and overtones of smoked tea & spice.
This wine was truly delicious. I enjoyed sipping it while The Other Williams cooked and we talked and then we both enjoyed it with our meal. Light, full bodied, beautiful color and aroma.
